Automated Machine Technologies, Inc. (AMT) was founded in November of 1996 by David J Lelonek, a degreed Mechanical Engineer with many years of manufacturing automation experience.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lelonek has been responsible for lead engineering, design, and project management of hundreds of time saving, labor reducing and eliminating automation systems. At that point, Mr. Lelonek’s experience ranged from automated assembly to machine vision inspection and robotics.

While serving as a Design Engineer for one of the big three automotive companies, Mr. Lelonek resigned from his position and formed AMT. The focus was engineering and manufacturing of very specialized automated machines and systems. For the next decade, these systems would continue to reduce costs and the risk of product reject thru efficient labor utilization and robust processes.

During the late months of 2004, AMT recognized the very dynamic changes to come in manufacturing and specifically the automotive industry. By this time, AMT’s internal manufacturing capabilities had grown substantially and the company’s attention to detail accompanied by diligent quality practices became second to none. With the investment in state of the art CNC machine tools, managed by engineers, highly skilled programmers, machinists, and operators, AMT was now providing CNC production machining services to the medical, aerospace and general consumer products industries.

Since 2006, AMT has tailored the company focus to provide the products and services as currently offered. AMT continually seeks to improve methods and implement processes that result in high efficiency and unsurpassed quality.
